Kenya Camp has announced its upcoming 14-day running camp from 18–31 October 2026, inviting runners from around the world to train at approximately 2,400 metres (7,800 feet) above sea level in Iten, Kenya’s most recognised high-altitude running destination.

Designed for runners looking to improve their performance while experiencing Kenya’s unique running culture, the camp combines structured coaching, high-altitude training, professional guidance, accommodation, meals, transportation, cultural experiences and recovery time in one fully planned program.

Train Where Champions Train

Iten has become internationally known for its strong running culture and high-altitude environment. Kenya Camp gives participants the opportunity to experience this environment firsthand while following a structured training program designed around their running goals.

Training at an elevation of 2,400 metres provides a challenging environment that can help runners increase their aerobic capacity and adapt to reduced oxygen availability. Participants will train on the roads and trails around Iten while experiencing the daily rhythm of Kenya’s famous running community.

A key part of the experience is the opportunity to train alongside Kenyan runners and professional pacers, giving participants a chance to learn from athletes familiar with the demands of distance running.

More Than a Running Camp

Kenya Camp is designed to offer more than a series of daily workouts. The 14-day program brings together training, education, meetings, cultural experiences, recovery and community.

Participants will receive personalised coaching and structured workouts, with professional guidance focused on running technique, training principles and performance development. The program also includes running seminars, giving runners the opportunity to explore important topics related to training, performance and recovery.

The fully planned itinerary allows participants to concentrate on their running without having to organise the logistics themselves.

All-Inclusive Camp Experience

The October 2026 Kenya Camp includes complimentary accommodation at The Hub or The Lodge, providing participants with a comfortable base for rest and recovery throughout their stay.

Daily meals and snacks are also included, with breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as fruits, tea and coffee available to help fuel participants during their training.

Rather than relying solely on camp catering, participants will also have the opportunity to enjoy authentic meals at local restaurants, offering a taste of Kenyan food and everyday culture.

Transportation is covered throughout the organised program. Airport transfers from Eldoret Airport to Iten and back are included, along with transportation to organised camp activities.

Experience Kenya Beyond Running

For many runners, travelling to Kenya is about more than improving their performance. It is an opportunity to experience the culture, people and environment that have become such an important part of the global running community.

The camp itinerary includes opportunities for cultural experiences and relaxation alongside training, allowing participants to experience Iten beyond the running track.

Participants will also receive an exclusive Kenya Camp running shirt as a lasting memento of their experience, as well as a Kenya Camp notebook to document their experiences.

Professional photography is included as well, with photographers capturing action shots during training sessions. These images allow runners to take home more than memories—they can also document their experience training in one of the world's most famous running environments.

An Invitation to Runners Worldwide

With coaching, structured workouts, Kenyan pacers, accommodation, meals, transportation, seminars, cultural experiences and professional photography included, the camp offers runners a complete experience built around training and recovery.

For runners ready to step outside their normal training environment and experience altitude, community and Kenyan running culture firsthand, Kenya Camp provides an opportunity to train, learn and connect in Iten, Kenya.
